Who I Am

I’m Brandon J., a visual artist based in Greensboro, NC, but originally from SC. I started my creative journey in high school with video editing, but soon realized I wanted complete control over the visuals, so I picked up a camera and never looked back. Since then, I’ve developed a love for both photography and videography and often blend the two in my work to capture everything from cinematic scenes to raw behind-the-scenes moments.

I’ve worked on all aspects of media for various projects, including short films, documentaries, music videos, virtual production, and even some professional sports events. Inspired by the cultures I’ve experienced living on different continents, I try to tell stories that feel deeply human and emotionally resonant.

My style is cinematic, emotional, and intentionally crafted with a hands-on yet laid-back energy that makes every shoot feel collaborative and grounded. I love creative projects that allow me to plan, build, and bring ideas to life from scratch. Whether I’m shooting a portrait, an event, or a concept-driven shoot, I want to create visuals that don’t just look good but make people feel something.
